My happy place in Daly City: The Farmers Market.

I find beautiful produce like these cherry tomatoes. I buy what I need.
Lately, some of the vendors remember me.

This is what I bought for $15: zucchini, avocados, Thai basil, Italian parsley, cherry tomatoes and olives.

I made whole wheat linguini with roasted zucchini, tomatoes and olives. I tweaked a Martha Stewart recipe to synch up with my hubby’s clean diet.

I used zucchini, shiitake mushrooms and avocado slices to whip up my favorite breakfast at home: fried egg sandwich. I added some Mitica Campo de Montalban cheese.

Yum.
