Garlic Salt, Butter and Meat

After I got my hair colored, I was in the mood for some bread. So we toasted it, buttered it and added a pinch of garlic salt.

For lunch, I had some leftovers from El Charro. Yummy

Japanese and Indian Flavors

Some Topeka blogger said 20-somethings don’t cook. Since we went shopping this weekend, I was planning on whipping on a Chicken Tikki Masala dish. After reading that blog, I decided to make that dish today.

Evidence of a 20-something — sauteeing white rice with olive oil, garlic salt and onion powder.

I snacked on these yummy wasabi peas. Mark brought them back from San Francisco last month.

Yeah, I had 20-minutes to spare as the rice simmered in tikki masala sauce, chicken and veggies…so I munched on these peas.

Lunch from Copper Oven

After my noon-time meeting, I walked down to 21st and Chelsea for lunch.
I ordered this steak soup from the Copper Oven — rich, savory and oh so meaty.
