Grilling in San Diego
San Diego has fantastic grilling weather.

I love coming home to the smell of smoking meat and seafood.

I added a porcini mushroom and gorgonzola risotto, inspired by a recipe by Giada De Laurentiis.
Then there’s grilling at the San Diego County Fair.

Grilling with Co-Workers
My new work schedule on weekends allowed me to check out my co-worker’s BBQ in San Jose.

This was the first 80-degree day that I enjoyed this summer. Fog and drizzle have me bundling up in hoodies in Daly City.
We sipped margaritas and joked around with his family. It was also a pleasure to chill with my newsroom colleagues, off the clock.

I was impressed with all the tasty meat dishes! Yummy sausages, grilled chicken and more. I needed to run off all the calories the next day.
