Hello July

We did a late lunch at Cracker Barrel. I had biscuit and gravy with bacon and the hashbrown casserole.

For dinner, I whipped up my version of Cuban beans and rice with sausages and corn.

Flavors of the Little Apple

We spent our Saturday in and around downtown Aggeville.

I was trying to be healthy, so I ordered Chicken Caesar salad from the So Long Saloon.

But I also had try the Saloon’s mini burger.

After watching Live Free or Die Hard, we did drinks at the Salty Rim. The bartender whipped up Ku Rice Liquor, Soda and 7-up. Tasty.

And we had a case of the munchies. The Salty Rim’s waitress said we were the first to try their summer salsa and chips.

Friday Food and Drink

I made a Jason’s Deli run for folks in the newsroom. I got a Chicken Panini.

Later, my hubby and I did late drinks and food at Old Chicago. We had a Flying Monkey Beer and a pomoijito. It’s an American version of the Cuban mojito with pommegrante juice.

The chili con queso didn’t have enought ground beef or chili.

For dessert we had the mini version of the Big Cookie, al a mode.
