I used chopped up ham, chicken sausage with mushroom and chorizo for my next salsa paella dish. I also added canned white hominy and sliced mushrooms.

This is my second attempt trying to use our slow cooker. It took about 8 hours to cook the meat. Then another 45 minutes to let it broil/simmer in the oven. It’s easy enough…but it seems like a long time to wait for dinner. I liked how the broth worked out after I added salt and pepper.
