Crystals, psychics and other services of the new age persuasion. At the Whole Life Cafe, I ordered the Vegetarian Tostada. It was served with warm black beans, Parmesan and salsa.

I also tried the Italian Peasant Soup. It was served lukewarm with ground meat and veggies. It still tasted good, but I was hoping for something to warm me up for autumn.

Kansas BBQ

The hubby’s boss said we had to try Guy and Mae’s in Williamsburg for ribs. Tasty stuff — the meat practically fell off the bones.

I also ordered a combo sandwich of turkey and polish sausage. It tasted fine, but it also seemed like this was something I could put together with deli meat from the grocery store.
