It has been a good year for food, drinks and memorable meals.
In Barcelona, I had the best meal of my young life at La Sarte.
Back in the States, I had to work during the holidays. My hubby and I wanted to have a fancy Christmas meal after we heard about our friends and their lavish holiday office parties.
We ended up at the Cliff House after my newsroom shift on Christmas Day. The kitchen plated this beautiful pan-roasted corvina and it tasted great!
My weekend fell on New Year’s Eve. I was thrilled to spend it with our San Francisco friends. Our last meal of the year involved a Portuguese chicken dish with vegetables. Inside the apartment, we popped champagne corks at midnight. We toasted 2013 with Sparkling AlbariÃ±o by Bonny Doon.
